If we talk about the number of users, then BT comes out to be the famous and topmost broadband and phone provider to customers. It is seen that almost all the broadband companies are dependent on the British Telecom for offering service to their customers. Among all the broadband services, BT is self directed and independent.
One of the factors that makes BT a famous broadband provider in UK is that it owns a huge market share.
BT Total broadband offers something to all. All the packages that are offered by BT possesses a speed of 8Mb along with huge download limits in a range of packages that are gettable between 12 to 18 months deals.
The BT broadband offers a wide range of added incentives. These comprise of 5Gb of free online storage with all three packages; weekend broadband calls and inclusive evening; 24/7 customer support and around 250 Wi-Fi minutes a month.
The most exciting fact regarding this broadband is that the customers can connect to additional services to their broadband connection. Also, you can add on BT vision in case you take out BT Total Broadband. By doing so, you can acquire access to 70 digital TV and radio channels or above. High scale on-demand programming is also observed via BT Vision – but you should stay within a Freeview space to modify.
Thus, it is very well clear that the services offered by BT provide an advancement to the broadband market. Also it imparts an array of benefits that are completely unavoidable.

The speed of BT are always poor and never seem like a broadband. One should expect only 1 mg in case one has opted for the 8 mg speed. That certainly is the speed I am receiving. My speed reduced from 2.5 mg last year to a paltry 0.5 mg in the last 2 months.!!
when I called them regarding it, the reply given was that that was all my line could hold. That's hilarious considering the fact that 2 months ago I was getting 2.5 megs on the same line! there customer service is even more appealing, so much so that one can get really frustrated while waiting in the queue to get through.
The annoying part is that once you somehow manage to get through, their BT customer service rep just does not let you complete your sentence but just keeps on talking. !!AAARRGHH!! I am so sick of hearing the work EXCHANGE that the next time I hear it, I am gonna fly to India and kick some BT arse there! The worst part is that after doing the speed test myself, I found out that BT is only sending me 0.5 meg down the line. It was tough for me to get it increased but somehow after some gruelling phone calls to India I managed to increase the meg to 1! in that case I should be back to 2.5 meg in about 3 months time. Yippeeee! Then about 2 months later I have my contract expiring so I can finally be relieved and free from BT. My advice to all the readers here- keep away from them as much as possible!!!

I am stuck with BT until my 18 month contract has ended. I hate speaking to people who I can barely understand. My speed is 0.13 mbs which is twice dial up....rubbish. Recently I called them and they "Flexed the line" and it went to 1.5 mbs...wow I was so excited until it began to drop on a daily basis...now its back to 0.13 and apparently it's with the parametres of the contact so they are not interested.

The connection does not give good return for money invested as one has to pay £17.50 + BT land line. Just trying to get another provider now. The wireless problem is still unresolved and I have called customer support several times in 12 months- the connection keeps on disconnecting from network. It takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour for connecting to technical support. So, one should always have some spare time before calling them.
